Follow the steps below to learn how to import DXF data into a Design Gateway symbol:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Create an empty symbol file in your library using the CR-8000 Engineering Desktop to import DXF data.<\/li>\n
  2. Close the target symbol.<\/li>\n
  3. Browse to the folder where the target symbol is stored.<\/li>\n
  4. Select a symbol in the folder; any symbol can be selected at this point.\u00a0Right-click and in the assist menu and select Tool > Data Import > DXF Import<\/em><\/li>\n
  5. Browse to select the DXF file and then browse to select the target path and symbol.<\/li>\n
  6. There are some options to set scale, and precision and so on.\u00a0 Once you have made the appropriate settings, select Execute<\/em><\/li>\n
  7. Open the symbol and review the results.<\/li>\n
  8. Copy and paste this graphic into your drawing format.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
